Playtime

Can this even be comfortable?

I guess so!

Peyton's Song

Looks like a future James Taylor if you ask me...

Brian and I were looking at Makenna one evening playing with one of Peyton's cars and we turned around to see Peyton putting on a concert. He stuck his American Idol microphone from McDonald's in our floor lamp and set down with his guitar on his Lincoln Log box.

I just love the imaginations of children.

This is how we roll!

Da Da

Makenna spoke her second word with us this morning. Brian was walking by and Makenna said "da da". You could tell it was very intentional. She certainly got her daddy's attention! There's not too many things sweeter than hearing your little one's first words...

My Coworkers Are The Best!

I went to work after taking Peyton to kindergarten on his first day and my coworkers had gotten me a really pretty potted flower and a card. Isn't that the sweetest? They are so thoughtful.

Creaking Keepsakes Convention

My friend Paula and I went to a scrapbook convention this past weekend in Charlotte. It was put on by Creaking Keepsakes and it was so much fun! They offer classes of all sorts and vendors galore to take all of your money! ha ha....I got some great ideas and I'm all pumped about getting back into my pages. It's been awhile....TOO LONG! The day was great but when we got back to our meeting point 45 minutes outside of Charlotte, I had a flat tire! Yuck!

Drive Baseball

My company sponsored a night out at the Drive last Friday. Some of us got together before hand and ate out before the game. We all have kids...here's some pics thanks to Lesley!

Love a Good Deal

I haven't posted anything regarding my CVS deals lately so here goes...
I purchased all of this shown for only $10.00!!!! Whew who! That's still a little more than I care to spend but it beats the original price of $38 anyday! The formula alone normally sells for $28.

Here's the breakdown:
24 pack of water for 6.99 on sale for 4.99 giving 1.00 in ECB's (Extra Care Bucks)
Alavert on sale for 5.99 giving 3.00 in ECB's and I had a 4.00 coupon so I made 1.00
Large can of formula was on sale for 23.99 and I had a coupon for 5.00
Wipes were 2/5.00, I only purchased 1 with a 50 cent coupon and they had a deal for when you buy $25 worth of baby products, you get 5.00 in ECB's back.

My original total was $51, I used my extra care card bringing the total down to $38, I had $9.50 in coupons plus a $3 off $15 purchase coupon. Then I used $6 in previous ECB's which gave me a total $19 and I received $9 back in ECB's! Making my total $10. Whew!

I LOVE a good deal!

Makenna's Noise Maker

Skate Party

Jameyson's 5th Birthday

Peyton and Brian and Jenna with her mom, Kim

Makenna...just chillin' out and Madeline with her mom Debbie

Peyton was invited to a skating party for one of his classmates. This was the last hoo-ra-ra before most of his friends separate to go to kindergarten. (school starts next week for Pey by the way)

Peyton was pretty funny to watch. He looked like he was moon walking. And Jenna (Peyton's best friend girl) is just too social to be slowed down by roller skates! She took those things off as soon as she could to be the free spirit that she is but at least she posed for a quick picture first.

Just showing off my girl....

Brian's 30th Birthday

I surprised Brian with a whitewater rafting trip for his birthday. We had to leave the house at 5am for our road trip to North Carolina. We caught a train in Bryson City that took us to the drop off point on the Nantahala River. We had a blast....of course I was on the side of the boat that hit all the water. I was drenched before the ride really got started! Brian, being the mischievous and ornery person that he is, got pretty wet too by starting water wars with some of the other boats. This is definately something that we will do again and hopefully soon!

Slack

I know....I've been so slack about blogging. I read blogs from other friends all the time who are so dedicted in their blogging. I'm going to try to do better. I told Brian this moring that blogging is tonight's only objective. It's time to get with it! More later....tonight!
