Peyton's Birthday Party

Peyton wanted his 7th birthday (yes, he's 7 now!) to be a few friends out at Stevie B's for pizza and arcade games. This place was perfect for games because it was very controllable and small. We had a delicious chocolate and marshmallow dessert pizza to celebrate the big 7. Great friend, food, and fun!

Slack!

I know it's been forever since we've posted but have no fear! We will be posting again soon...in the next couple of weeks. We're getting ready for our annual trip to Oklahoma and while we're there we are going to spend some time catching up on posts.

Stay Tuned!

Just kickin' back with a good book...

Snow Day

We've quite a bit of snow this year compared to other years and of course Peyton has loved every minute of it! He and his neighbor friend Jordan have had a blast playing in the snow mainly snowboarding. Brian and I spent this particular weekend working a puzzle only to find that we were missing the last piece. I wish I had taken a picture of us working on it. Our intentions were to frame the puzzle once in place and put it upstairs in the kids hallway....a great snow weekend project but without that missing piece.... We left it up for 4 more days hoping that it would show up and finally Peyton and I took it down so that we actually use our dining room table for dinner. After dinner Makenna comes walking over with something in her hand that she wanted to show me. Yep! You guessed it! It was the missing piece! Go figure right? AFTER we take the whole darn thing down that's when the sneaky 2 year old reveals the missing piece. And it was in the dinning room the whole time. Before she came over, I saw her messing with a rather large candlestick I have in the corner with a pillar candle on top. I guess she had the piece hidden under the pillar candle. One of these days we may work that ole puzzle again...but then again...maybe not. :)

Two Front Teeth

Peyton lost his first top front tooth on December 26th. The 2nd one came out on January 3rd. I just knew he was going to lose it before Christmas. I wanted so badly to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth..." Oh well. I can't believe he's old enough already to be getting his permanent teeth in. These always come in so much bigger and more noticeable than the bottom ones. I wonder what he'll look like....

Here's what he looks like now....

Makenna's 2nd Birthday P-A-R-T-Y

Makenna has been very into Old MacDonald...especially the part about the cow. She sings, "ole de donal had a faum...E-I-E-I-O....Cow cow cow!" So we decided to throw her a farm party with the emphasis being on the cow. We had slider cheeseburgers for dinner along with a cow themed cake and as party favors, we passed out cow tails. It all came together cute, fun, and very playful...just like our 2 year old! Enjoy the slide show!
